A Business School is a college or university that offers a course of study leading to a Bachelor's Degree of Science in Business Administration (BS) or a Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA). They include schools of business, schools of business administration, and schools of business management.

The term "business" refers to a commercial, industrial or non-profit enterprise. It is also a term used to describe the activities of those engaged in the purchase or sale of commodities or in related financial transactions. It can also apply to the manufacturing or processing of merchandise, as well as to the operation and administration of public providers of goods and services.

A Bachelor's Degree gives the graduate a basic education in the fundamentals of business administration. Students may concentrate their areas of study on such subjects as Finance, Human Resource Management, Information Systems, Office Management, and Marketing.

A Master's Degree indicates an advanced knowledge of solid business practices, and students may specialize in areas such as Finance, Global Business, General Management, Human Resource Management, Health Services, E-Business, Technology Management, Marketing, Retailing, Risk Management and Insurance, and even Non-Profit Management.
