College Life

Many think that a college is like a cosmopolitan community where there is its own style of life, international community of thousands of students from throughout the world, special social events, room mates and class mates originated form different cultures and having different attitudes. Many young people may feel stress while thinking about their new life in college because they used to live at their homes, have their own schedules, relationships and freedoms. On one hand, college life is always attractive as it can offer a free of control and independent life where everyone is the only responsible person for his/her activities, success or failures. The dream of being independent is the exact thing which usually attracts students to leave their homes and start college life.

However, there is another side which could be found as hard experience. Many young people cannot clearly understand what the freedom and independence is. College community could demonstrate them clearly their missing in clear understanding of these words meanings. Good relationships mean each person can compromise and listen to another side carefully and with respect. Independence means primary responsibility where each person is responsible for what he/she is free to choose to act or say. So choosing college life would mean taking in the responsibility for good attitudes and even behavior so that the college cosmopolitan community would seem like a friendly and encouraging society which can help in both career/professional development and personal development.

The most attractive thing in college life is social events which also remain young people freedom and independence. Each college usually offers a huge amount of social life with new friends, cultures, performances, relationships. It is important to bear in mind that social life is a very powerful phenomena which can greatly reflect an adult behavior, attitudes and future career.
